Funeral services for Grace Powell Jack, 93, were held on Friday, Feb. 25, from the Gill funeral chapel in Strawberry Point. Interment was in the Elkader cemetery, with the Rev. S. J. Meyer of Strawberry Point officiating.

Grace Powell was born Oct. 11, 1861 at Elkader, and was the daughter of Sidney and Letitia Ann (Farnsworth) Powell. She was a member of the Congregational church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Miss Eva Jack of Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. John E. Morgan (June) of Emporia, Kansas. Mrs. Jack has been in the Moser rest home in Strawberry Point and several years prior to that was in the Lutheran home for aged in Strawberry Point.
