Sad Death - On Tuesday forenoon, as W. Preshaw [sic] of this city was excavating at the head of upper Main street, a large rock loosened and beore he could get out of the way, fell upon him, crushing the skull in a horrible manner.
Dr. Moe was immediately summoned, but death intervened immediately after the accident. The deceased leaves a widow and seven children, two of whom are adults and serving in the army.
It is a sad case.
