DIED - On Saturday, June 14th, Frances E., youngest daughter of William H. and Virginia C. Harding, aged 5 years 2 months and 2? days.

Another darling has bowed beneath that dreadful disease, the Diptheria. Little Lizzie, the pet of the household, was the victim; she was a rare child such a one as we do not often meet with. United to the most amiable disposition, were those winning ways which drew every heart to her and made [illegible] feel while in her presence, that she was too bright, too pure a being to stay long in this world.

She drooped a while and then her sinless spirit spread her angel wings and flew to that heaven above, that she so often would talk about, where she said they would sing "glory, glory." Me thinks when her pure spirit passed the shining portals, the shouts of the angelic choir, were loud, and louder still, until the whole heavens [illegible] with such [illegible] as only angels can give.

Weep not mother your child is an angel now.

Mother still each note of sadness,
Let thy night be turned to day,
Think the treasure kindly lent thee,
Angel [illegible] fled away.

Think that in heaven's shining portals,
The dear object of thy love,
Viewing o'er thy lonely sorrow,
Beckons thee to realms above.

Bids thee cease they sore repluings
Humbly kiss the [illegible],
Nerve thy soul to brave the conflict,
Know the chastening is of God.

Sorrow not! The sinless offering,
Yield, though dearly prized by thee,
To His gracious arms who calleth
Suffer such to come to me.

Trust His grace without a murmur,
Vainly thou mayst not re--,
[illegible] gentle meek submission,
Mercy whispers "It is well."
