The death of Mrs. Austin J. Thyne, 72, occurred Thursday at the Walter Thyne home at Strawberry Point. Mrs. Thyne had been cared for there the past seven weeks.

Margaret Evelyn, daughter of Michael and Margaret Ivory O'Brien, was born March 05, 1876 at Cox Creek, Sperry township. She was married to Austin J. Thyne on March 06, 191_ at Volga. Since then they have lived on their farm southeast of town. She is the last member of her family.

Surviving are the husband, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's church in Strawberry Point. The requiem mass was celebrated by the Rev. D. T. Noonan of Volga. The Rev. Father Fagan delivered the sermon and officiated at the graveside. Burial was in the Cox Creek cemetery.

Casket-bearers were: P. H. Quinn, Joe Little, Vern and Merwyn Puffett, Dewey and Brian Farmer.
