MCGREGOR: Services were held Friday afternoon at the Congregational church for Mrs. Frank Hatch, 80, who died at her home here Christmas Day. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Paxton Smith with interment in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mrs. Hatch had been ill for the last few years and confined to her bed for many months.

Born May 22, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. LeRoy, in Saginaw, Michigan. Mary E. LeRoy became a teacher after her graduation from Pontiac high school and came to McGregor to teach in 1887. She was a well-loved teacher in the McGregor schools, from which she resigned in 1890 preceding her marriage to Frank D. Hatch of McGregor. Four sons were born to this union, all of whom died in infancy or early childhood. Mrs. Hatch was an early member of the Tourist club, a charter member of the B. and P.W. club, a member of the library board, and an active worker in the Congregational church for many years.

She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Helen Monroe, of Detroit, Mich., and her brother, Charles H. LeRoy of McGregor.
