Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Kniggs were held at the Pilkington funeral home Thursday afternoon. She died at her home in Lynxville, Wis., Monday after several months of illness. Burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery with the Rev. P. J. Allwell of Giard officiating.
Anna Franke, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franke, was born in Salsfeld, Germany, April 03, 1880. She moved with her family to Prairie du Chien when she was two years old, and lived in or near McGregor the rest of her life. She married Frannk Knigge April 06, 1929, and for the last seven years they have lived at Lynxville, where he is lockmaster of Lock No. 09.
Surviving besides her husband are two sisters, Mrs. Charles Habill and Mrs. Carl Meng of Bagley, Wis., and one brother, Ed Franke, of South Sioux City, Nebr.
