MADISON, EVERT, NEWTON, CHRISTIANSON

Clayton County Register, 04 May 1944.

STRAWBERRY POINT: John L. Madison of St. Paul, Minn., age 53 years, died suddenly here Friday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Harley Evert, where he had been visiting the past six weeks. He was born here Jan. 07, 1891. He was married to Ruby H. Newton from whom he was divorced. He had been in St. Paul the past several years.

Surviving besides Mrs. Evert are another sister, Mrs. Walter Christianson and a brother, Lee R. Madison both of St. Paul and a son, J. L. Madison, serving over seas. The body was taken to St. Paul for funeral and burial.
