STRAWBERRY POINT: Mrs. Fred Tracy, 77, died at her home Sunday evening after a long illness.
Flora Steward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Steward, was born June 07, 1886 [sic], at Belmont, Iowa. She was married to Fred Tracy Dec. 21, 1889. With the exception of one year spent in Wisconsin, they farmed in this community until retiring to Strawberry Point in 1919. She was a member of the Rebecca and Royal Neighbor lodges.
Surviving are the husband and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Tracy of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Hattie Livingston of Hopkinton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Gill Funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. R. Park Anderson, pastor of the Methodist church. Music was furnished by a male quartet composed of F. S. Runyon, Rev. R. Park Anderson, Dr. R. W. Dutton and Gorda J. Gill. Casket bearers were S. F. Schoentag, John Lee, John Tiner, Lester Hines and Earl Nichols.
Burial was in the local cemetery.
