Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Williams of Elkport, who died Monday, Sept. 27, were held at the Hope Lutheran church at Littleport at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, with the Rev. S. M. Becker officiating. Interment was made in the Union cemetery at Littleport.

Mrs. Williams was born at Elkport, June 12, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Fritz. She was confirmed May 30 1890, in the Elkport Lutheran church. January 21, 1897 she was married to Fred F. Williams. Five children were born to this union, two, Elsie and Arthur preceded their mother in death.

Surviving are her husband, one son Floyd of Elkport, two daughters, Mrs. Orlando Krieg of Elkport and Mrs. Louis Feidt of Cedar Falls; one sister, Mrs. Henrietta Gratke of Strawberry Point; three brothers, William Fritz of Altamont, S. Dak., Daniel Fritz of Maquoketa, Iowa, and August Fritz.

Pallbearers were: Henry Fritz, Robert Fishel, Rudolph Jaster, Elmer Boehm, Leon Harbaugh, and William Refle.
