Mrs. Mary Holly died Sunday evening at her home east of Monona. Funeral services were held at nine-thirty Wednesday morning with the Rev. Father Luke Donlon singing the requiem high mass and saying the prayers at the grave in St. Wencelaus cemetery east of Monona, where she was buried beside Mr. Holly.

Mary Lestina was born July 02, 1858, in Bohemia, and with her parents came to this country, where she grew to womanhood and in 1869 was married to John Holly. They were the parents of fourteen children. Those surviving are: Frank Holly, Mrs. Anna Montgomery, John Holly, Albert Holly, George Holly, Elmer Holly, Mrs. Rose Schroeder, and V_eilof Holly of Milwaukee, Joe Holly of Farmersburg, Mrs. Mary Fibaker of Boone, and Mrs. Kate Johnson of Marquette; Thirty-eight grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren also survive her. Her husband died ten years ago. Two daughters, Elizabeth and Mrs. Tillie Lestina, preceded her in death, and one child died in infancy.

Among those who attended the funeral of Mrs. Mary Holly Were: Mr. and Mrs. John Lestina, Mrs. Joe Fibaker and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hedley, all of Boone; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fibaker of Dows; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lestina of Ossian; Mr. and Mrs. John Montgomery of Austin, Minn.; George Montgomery, Jr., of Dubuque; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Holly of Farmersburg; Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Holly and family of Milwaukee; and Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson of Marquette.
