Funeral services for Geo. W. Amling, 59, of Elkport, who died of a heart attack Tuesday while loading hay at the Henry Klink farm, will be Saturday morning at St. Michael's church, Garber. The Rev. Father L. Holmberg will officiate. Burial will be at the St. Michael's cemetery, Elkport. Prayers will be offered at the Oelke funeral home, Elkader.

Funeral services for George W. Amling, 59, were held at St. Michael's church in Garber at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. The Rev. Father Loren Holmberg officiated. Burial was in the St. Michael's cemetery.
Mr. Amling died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday, December 10. He had lived in the Elkport-Garber vicinity all his life. He was married to Miss Kathryn McMorrow at Elkport May 05, 1907. She preceded him in death in 1938. Since her death he had made his home with his son Leo and family on a farm near, Garber.
He is survived by his son Leo, one brother, Fred Amling, Garber, and three sisters, Mrs. James Tax, Boneita Spring, S.Dak., Lizzie Amling, Elm Spring, S.Dak., and Mrs. Minnie Politez, Mlwaukee, Wis.
Pallbearers were: Realto Berns, Arthur Wellman, Ernest Groth, Harold Conley, Arthur Jennings and Russell Wathen.
