Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon from the late home and then from the Congregational church for Lenora C. Kopp. Burial was made in the East Side cemetery with the Rev. N. O. Bartholomew officiating.

Lenora Cornelia Kopp was born in Communia March 10, 1889. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kopp both of whom preceded her in death; the mother in 1915 and the father, Nov. 26, 1939.

Her early life was spent on the farm near Communia. The last 12 yeas she was a faithful companion and dutiful daughter keeping house for her father in their home in Elkader.

After a critical illness of seven weeks she died at Mercy hospital at Dubuque, Sept. 22, 8:00 a.m.

Her near surviving relatives are: one sister, Mrs. Clem Whittle of Communia; one brother, Fred Kopp of Communia; four nephews, Earl, Bernell, Malcolm, and Norbert Whittle; one niece, Edith Whittle; one aunt in California, Mrs. Clara Muegge; and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stein of Hopkinton, Iowa.

Miss Lenora was a kind neighbor, a faithful daughter and has left a host of friends who will long remember her quiet earnest life of service.

Casketbearers were: Ambrose Whittle, Don Schneider, Roy Klink, Art Eckheart, Frank Leonard and Frank Wacker.
