Hunt, Emmit died 1861

DIED - In Wagner, Clayton County, Iowa, March 17th, 1861, Emmit, aged 9 months, son of Warren B. and Polly A. Hunt.

"Dear Emmit he has faded while in his youthful bloom,
His graceful form has fallen and is laid in yonder tomb.
Our home has now no brother -- no brother in the [illegible];
He has left us -- joined the ransomed within the spirit land
Farewell Emmit -- brother -- the grave may claim thy dust,
Thy spirit, all immortal, is dwelling with the just,
We'll come and join the angels when the toils of life are o'er,
And greet thy happy spirit upon the other shore."
