VOLGA: Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Cox Creek for Mrs. Genevieve Tinker Ryan of Minneapolis who died Friday morning. Interment was at Cox Creek. For many years she was a resident of Cox Creek southeast of town.

STRAWBERRY POINT: The body of Mrs. Edward Ryan of Minneapolis was brought here Monday evening and brief services were held Tuesday at the home of her brother, D. J. Ivory, conducted by the Rev. P. J. Boyle, pastor of the St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial was made in the Cox Creek cemetery.
Genevieve Ivory, one of the twelve children of James and Catherine Ivory was born on a farm five miles north of Strawberry Point on Jan. 16, 1876 and died in a hospital in Minneapolis, Friday, following a stroke. She was graduated from the local public school in 1892. She was united in marriage to Jacob A. Tinker on Nov. 10, 1894. To this union nine children were born. Mr. Tinker died Feb. 05, 1918. After his death she moved to town. On December 01, 1921, she was married to Edward Ryan of Minneapolis, where she has since resided. Mrs. Ryan was a member of the local Royal Neighbors. Surviving are her husband, Edward Ryan of Minneapolis; and her nine children: Cyril J., Dubuque; Edward J., Greeley; Clarence T., William A.; Lloyd F.; Daniel L., Mrs. S. J. Palmer and Mrs. F. A. Costello all of Minneapolis and Mrs. W. P. Weber, St. Paul, also nineteen grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. John M. Henry of Greeley and one brother, Daniel J. Ivory of Strawberry Point.
