Clayton County Register, 20 Mar. 1940.
Guttenberg: Mrs. Mary Dorweiler died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Ward, on Friday p.m. She had been ill only a few days and her sudden death was a shock to relatives and friends.
She leaves four children and one sister to mourn her death besides several grandchildren and other relatives.
The funeral services were held at St. Mary's church on Monday a.m. at 9:00 o'clock. The Rev. Joseph Dupont officiated.
Burial was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
