MONONA: Mrs. John F. Kliefoth, Sr., died suddenly early Sunday morning in her home of a stroke. She had attended a wedding in the Lutheran church Saturday afternoon and had attended to some business in Monona afterwards and although her heart had been bad she had been about her usual duties all week.

Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the home, and 1:30 from the Lutheran church, with burial in the city cemetery beside her husband.

Surviving her are two sons, Elmer Kliefoth and John Kliefoth, Jr., and six daughters, Mrs. Henry Kricke, Mrs. Lester Kurth, Mrs. Emil Neverman, Mrs. Archie F. Thompson and Mrs. Herbert Mueller.

Mrs. Kliefoth was preceded in death by her husband in 1938. She was a good neighbor and mother, a faithful member of her church and loved to attend Ladies' Aid. She always enjoyed the visits of her children, other relatives and friends.

The sympathy of the community is extended the bereaved in their loss.
