Clayton County Register, 22 Nov. 1939.

GUTTENBERG: The body of Mrs. Elizabeth Gerner was brought here Monday and taken to the home of her son, Lawrence. She had been living at the home of her son Andrew.

The funeral was held at St. Mary's church, Tuesday at 9 a.m. The Rev. Joseph Dupont officiated.

There are eight children left to mourn her death, namely: Miss Lucille Johl, Mrs. Irene Hutchison, Mrs. Mae Stevens, Mrs. Viola Thielan, Lawrence, Norbert, John and Andrew.
