MONONA: Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Ulish Tayek were held at ten o'clock Wednesday morning from the Carl Schultz funeral home. The Rev. Harvey W. Raduege officiated, and burial was made in the Council Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Tayek died at the home of her son, John Tayek, in Postville at the age of 89 years. She was born in Bohemia and moved to Giard township with her parents when three years of age and in 1871 was married to Frank Tayek who preceded her in death.

Four children survive her, Mary of Helena, Mont., Frank of San Francisco, Jennie of Elmonte, Cal., and John of Postville; also one sister, Miss Mary Ulish of Monona, twelve grandchildren.

The pall bearers were H. Klotzbach, Joe Lotza, Lon Burlingame, A. E. Schwab, Charles Welch and John Reidel, Sr.
