COX CREEK: Burial services were held at Strawberry Point Monday, August 07th, for Mrs. Stella Horsefall of Lancaster, Wis., conducted by the Rev. C. I. Peterson. Pallbearers were Merle, Gregor, Jr., Dale and Clint Debes, grandchildren, and Lanath Thurscher and Carter Horsefall, step-sons of Mrs. Horsefall. Burial was made on the Strawberry Point cemetery.
Stella Partch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Partch of Cox Creek township, was born June 23, 1872. She resided on a farm in Cox Creek with her parents until her marriage to Fremont Pugh in 1889. Three daughters, Mesdames James and Gregor Debes, Dorothy Tinker, and a son, Hugh Pugh, were born to Mr. and Mrs. Pugh. Mr. Pugh died in 1920.
Seven years later Mrs. Pugh was married to Guy Horsefall of Lancaster, Wis., who with the children, four step-children, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren will mourn her loss.
