Strawberry Point: Funeral services for Edward S. Hebron were held at the Shelly chapel in Manchester, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. George Winter. Burial was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
Edward S. Hebron, son of Stephen and Victoria Smith Hebron, was born July 17, 1870, at Buffalo, N.Y., and died at his home in Manchester, Saturday, after a two year illness with heart trouble. He came with his parents when he was ten years of age to Richland township in Delaware county. He attended the Upper Iowa University. On Dec. 13, 1909, he was united in marriage to Winifred Eldridge. They lived on the old Butterfield farm, six miles northeast of Dundee, until 1921, when they moved to Strawberry Point. Three years later they returned to the farm and moved to Manchester a year ago. Surviving are his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Ivory of Clinton, Raynelle and Helen at home; also one grandson and three brothers, George and Clarence, of Strawberry Point, and Lawrence of Farina, Ill.
