Mrs. Martin Paulson died here at Elkader, Monday May 29 at 11:25 a.m. after a long illness. She had been a resident of this place for the last five years.
Mrs. Paulson was born August 05, 1878 at Hardin, Iowa, the daughter of Milton and Anna (Beedy) Mason. She was united in marriage with Martin Paulson on Sept., 1913 in Waukon.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Reva Schwab, Monona; one son, C. R. Paulson, Elkader; four sisters, Mrs. Alvin Russell, Montpelied, Iowa; Mrs. Henry Welsch of California; Mrs. S. L. Hensley of Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Clyde Hinman of Luana. Three grandchildren also survive; they are Clarence Paulson, Elkader, and Aldys Jane and Gene Schwab, both of Monona.
Burial was made in the cemetery near Luana after short services had been held here at the Oelke mortuary, the Rev. N. O. Bartholomew officiating.

Note: Burial is in the Hardin cemetery, located just over the Allamakee/Clayton line in Allamakee county. Her parents are also buried there and have a gravestone. Margaret very possibly doesn't have a gravemarker.
