MCGREGOR: Funeral services for Harrison W. Barker, of Marquette, were held at the Methodist church in Marquette, Friday afternoon, Rev. Glenn McMichael officiating. Mr. Barker died at the home of his brother, Albert Barker, Tuesday evening, at the age of 50, after a short illness. He was born at McGregor, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert B. Barker. He was married to Florence Wilson, who died last August from burns. He is survived by six children, Fred, Mary, and Mrs. Nina Livingston, of Marquette; Mrs. Velva Dryer of Guttenberg; Mrs. Florence Livingston of Fountain City, Wis., and Mrs. Maude Bruns of Alma, Wis.; his mother, Mrs. M. Barker, of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; five sisters and one brother, Mrs. Myrtle Adney of McGregor, Mrs. Marriette Colby of Chicago, Mrs. Iola Shaw, Mrs. Ruby Evans and Miss Alice Barker of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Albert Barker of Marquette. Burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
