STRAWBERRY POINT: Marvin Snyder, stock buyer, died at his home Friday morning. Tuesday, he had been to Cedar Rapids on a business trip and returned home. A few hours later he had a stroke and never regained consciousness.

Funeral services were held at his home Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Max O. Jahr, pastor of the Emanuels' Lutheran church. Interment was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

Marvin Snyder, son of Daniel and Julia Snyder, was born Jan. 07, 1866, at Dixon, Iowa. He moved here in 1906, where he has since resided. He is survived by two sons and three daughters: Floyd Snyder, Strawberry Point; Clifford Snyder and Mrs. Roy (Fonda) Turner, Storm Lake; Mrs. Russell (Nellie) Dunn, Paulina; and Mrs. Wm. (Florence) Strehlow, Omaha, Nebr., also nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
