Clayton County Register, 20 July 1938.

MCGREGOR: Funeral services for William Claudy, 75, who died Saturday, were held at the home Monday morning, The Rev. J. F. Parsons officiating. Mr. Claudy died at the result of a sunstroke last Monday as he was working in his garden. He was a life-long resident of McGregor and had been a truck farmer for many years. He is survived by his wife. Burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
