STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Mrs. W. H. Sauerbry were held Friday afternoon at the Emanuel's Lutheran church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Max O. Jahr. The pallbearers were Lee Scheffler, Louie Frederick, Wm. Opperman, Pin Weig, Wm. Rieniets and G. Hoyer. Interment was made in the St. Sebald cemetery.
Mrs. Sauerbry, nee Clara Loeb, was born at Ruhsell, Wis., on Nov. 01, 1867. She was confirmed and baptized in the Lutheran faith. On Oct. 03, 1888, she was united in marriage to William H. Sauerbry, by Rev. G. H. Fuehr at St. Sebald. In 1899, Mr. and Mrs. Sauerbry moved to Strawberry Point, which place has since been their home. Surviving are the husband and some distant cousins.
