Clayton County Register, 26 Jan. 1938.

LUANA: Alvin Knuth, after an illness of a year or more, passed away at his farm home southeast of town, about 7 o'clock Monday morning, Jan. 24, about 52 years of age.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his widow and two sons, Eldon and Donald; his mother, Mrs. Mary Knuth; a brother, Walter, and a sister, Mrs. Arno Kliefoth, of Luana; and a brother, Vern, of Owatonna, Minn., and their families.
