Clayton County Register, 29 Dec. 1937.

Guttenberg: The body of William Tinkey was brought here Sunday. Mr. Tinkey was hit by a train and died several hours later. He had been a resident of Guttenberg for many years, and several years ago he moved to Waverly. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, and burial was made in the Guttenberg cemetery. He is survived by one brother, David, and several nieces and nephews.
