MCGREGOR: Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Barbara Dixon, 89, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Lindemann in McGregor. Services were held at the Congregational church by the Rev. J. F. Parsons. Mrs. Dixon was born in Lancaster, Pa., April 20, 1848, her maiden name being Barbara Eidemiller. She came to Dubuque with her parents when she was two years old. In 1874 she was married to John Haltmeyer of McGregor and in 1898 she was married again to James Dixon. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Flora Dehn of Claton, Mrs. Lydia Lindemann, with whom she made her home, and Emma Drallmeier of Dubuque and one son, Ernest Haltmeyer of Farmersburg.
