STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Dunning were held at the Congregational church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Carrie V. Lucas. During her early girlhood Mrs. Dunning came to Strawberry Point to visit relatives, and remained for some time in their home, meeting Theodore Dunning, and in June, 1880, she and Mr. Dunning were married in Ohio. Shortly after, they returned to Strawberry Point to make their home. Mr. Dunning died Sept. 11, 1909. Both surviving children were with their mother when the end came.

She was a conscientious and willing worker in the Ladies Aid society of the church of her choice, and Tuesday the remaining number of this organization, all bordering on four score years, honored her memory, with countless friends and neighbors whom she so efficiently served and blessed during a long and useful life.
