Monona: Alton Carl Adney, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Adney, was born June 17, 1937, in Mendon township, and died July 06, 1937, at the age of one month and nine days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Adney, one sister, June Adney; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Kamp and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Adney.

Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Kamp Wednesday morning at ten o'clock, and burial was made in the Council Hill cemetery, the Rev. George W. Turner officiating. The sympathy of the community is extended Mr. and Mrs. Adney in the loss of their infant son.
