Clayton County Register, 21 July 1937.
Strawberry Point: Funeral services for Mrs. Martin V. Kehoe of Cedar Rapids were held at St. Mary's church Wednesday morning, the Rev. P. J. Boyle conducting Mass. Interment was made in the local cemetery. Mrs. Kehoe, nee Una May Coykendall, daughter of Moses and Mary Elizabeth Coykendall, was born Sept. 14, 1875, at Strawberry Point, and died at her home in Cedar Rapids Monday morning, July 19, 1937. She attended and graduated from the local public school, teaching in the rural districts and later was assistant postmistress. On June 26, 1901, she was united in marriage to Martin V. Kehoe at Strawberry Point. The home was made at Monticello, and for the last eighteen years has lived at Cedar Rapids. To this union two children, Helen Frances and Mary Elizabeth, were born.
Mrs. Kehoe had been about her home as usual on Sunday and in the evening went riding. About one o'clock Monday morning, she complained of not feeling well, and her husband, seeing she was quite ill, phoned for the doctor and went after her sisters, the Misses Ula and Deva Coykendall, nearby, but before they arrived she had passed away. Her parents and three brothers have preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, two sisters, all of Cedar Rapids, and a large circle of relatives and friends, who mourn the loss of a dear one.
