Luana friends were very much startled when the word was passed around that Mrs. Fred Neverman had passed away very suddenly in the home of her father, Mr. Grossman of McGregor, Saturday. Mr. Grossman had gone to Clermont for the weekend, bringing his grandchildren, Betty and Bobby, to visit in the home of Grandpa and Grandma Kruse at Luana.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Fred Neverman at the home of her father, Elzer Grossman, with the Rev. S.F. Kenderdine officiating. Mrs. Neverman died very suddenly Saturday at the age of 28 years.
Elsie Vera Grossman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elzer Grossman, was born at Clermont on April 28, 1909. She was married to Fred Neverman in 1925.
To this union three children were born, Bobbie, Betty and Ronald. The family lived at Clermont and Luana and for the last two years in McGregor. They came to live with Elzer Grossman just previous to her mother's death and have continued to live with her father since that time.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Neverman, her two children, Betty and Bobby, her father, Elzer Grossman, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Barker and Mrs. George Ellenbolt, both of Marquette. A son, Ronald, died eighteen months ago.
Burial was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
