Mrs. David Coonfare, who had been ill since last October, died last Sunday, April 18, at 9:45 a.m., at her home three miles south of Osborne and one mile west of Mederville, in Cox Creek township.

Minnie (Fox) Coonfare was born July 23, 1868, in Courtland, N.Y., the daughter of Orville and Electre Fox. She came to this county in 1883 and ten years later was united in marriage with David Coonfare. Since that time they have lived continuously on the farm in Cox Creek township where she is survived by her husband.

Funeral services were held yesterday and burial was made in the cemetery at Mederville, the Rev. E. L. Stuempfig of Elkader officiating.
