John Wilbur Bush

MONONA: Funeral services for J. W. Bush, aged 79, were held Monday afternoon from the Carl G. Schultz funeral home, with burial in the cemetery at Castalia, the Rev. George W. Turner officiating.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Emma Buckman, of Inwood, Iowa, and one brother, Leslie Bush of Castalia, and two nieces, Mrs. W. E. Peterson and Mrs. Gaylord Moses, of Austin, Minn.

Mr. Bush for many years lived on a farm north of Monona and about ten years ago moved to Monona, where he was taken sick and then taken to the McGregor hospital, where his death occurred.

Mr. Bush lived a very lonely life, but one of his characteristics was his unusual kindness to animals. He loved music, and his chief pastime was to sing.
