MCGREGOR: Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Sparks were held Tuesday afternoon from the Congregational church, Rev. J. F. Parsons officiating. Burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Ella Georgia Scott was born in Prairie du Chien, Wis., May 09th, 1873, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Scott. When about a year old her parents moved to North McGregor, where she grew to womanhood. In 1896 she married Edward Sparks, and five years later they moved to McGregor, where they made their home since. Two children were born to them, Scott A. of Los Angeles, Cal., and Elizabeth, now Mrs. Chas. Turner of Deerfield, Ill. Besides her husband and two children, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. H. H. Lepper of Okla., and four brothers, James and Edward of Marquette, Harry of McGregor and Charles of Corpus Christi, Texas.
