GUTTENBERG: Isaac Tindell, 72 years old, and long-time resident and prominent business man of Guttenberg, died suddenly of heart trouble Monday afternoon while busy in his garage at his home here. He had not been in good health of late. Mr. Tindell was born at Beetown, Wis., on Jan. 20, 1864, where he grew to young manhood, later going to Millville, Clayton county, Iowa, to reside, and since that time has been engaged in the well-drilling business here.
He was married to Miss Emma Carter, who preceded him in death a number of years ago. He was again married on Dec. 02, 1925, to Mrs. Minnie Schroeder, of Guttenberg. He is survived by his wife; three step-daughters, Mrs. Leona Carpenter of Sac City, Mrs. Althea Oldham of Oneida, and Miss La Vonne Schroeder at home; one step-son, Russell Schroeder of Guttenberg; two brothers, Albert Tindell of Walla Walla, Wash., and Joe Tindell of Millville; one sister, Mrs. Emma Jamison of Vancouver, B.C., and numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held from his home at Guttenberg. The body was laid to rest in the City cemetery.
