GUTTENBERG: Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Huene, former Guttenberg resident, were conducted by the Rev. J. A. Dupont at St. Mary's Catholic church here on Friday morning, with burial in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Huene, who was the step-mother of E. V. Huene of Guttenberg, died at Independence on Wednesday morning. She was 61 years old at the time of her death. She is survived by several children and step-children, a number of grandchildren, several sisters and brothers and many other relatives and friends. The funeral was largely attended.
