McGregor: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elbling, 91, one of McGregor's oldest residents, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church Wednesday. Mrs. Elbling died Sunday night, after an illness of several months. She was born in Bohemia and came to America when a small child, crossing the ocean in a sailing ship. She came to McGregor as a bride of 15, and has lived in McGregor for 76 years. She is survived by one son, John Elbling, of McGregor, and two brothers, Joe Kapinos of Calmar and Charles Kapinos of Canute, Okla.
