Oliver Schultz, 27, employed as a clerk in the George Tangeman store in Garnavillo, took his life Sunday morning by hanging. His lifeless body was found by his wife at 6:15 a.m. Sunday.
Coroner Leslie Oelke conducted an inquest, with Ed. Huckstadt, Dr. J. W. Hudek and H. C. Schumacher as jurors of the coroners court, and their decision was that of suicide.
No reason has been advanced for this act on the part of the deceased. He appeared to be in good health and seemed to have no worries.
Funeral services were held in Garnavillo yesterday afternoon.
