GLENNON, MOLUMBY, SHEPHERD, LARSON

Peter B. Glennon, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Glennon, was born July 28, 1869, and died Monday, February 17, 1936, at 3:15 A.M. Although in ill health for the past year, death overtook him after a week's serious illness in a Chicago hospital at the age of 66 years.

He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Molumby on Feb. 15, 1898, and to this union were born four children, one son, Leo, dying in infancy. He leaves to mourn his passing from this life, his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Imogene Shepherd and Kathryn Glennon, of Chicago, and Mrs. Frances Larson of Alma, Wis.; five grandchildren; two brothers, William of Volga, and Timothy of Strawberry Point; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, his parents, four sisters and four brothers.

Mr. Glennon was a faithful member of the Catholic church and was affiliated with the Sacred Heart League. He was a devoted father and will be sadly missed by his family, as well as by his relatives and countless friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 o'clock at Sacred Heart church Wednesday morning, Feb. 19, his pastor, the Rev. D. P. Cregan, celebrating a requiem high mass. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery here.

The casket bearers were Frank O'Brien, Howard Taylor, Frank Cox, William Goodin, Emmet Thyne and Frank Phillips.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral services were: Dr. and Mrs. L. F. Molumby and family of West Union; Mrs. Mayme Molumby, Mrs. Esther Raftis, daughter Frances, of Wadena; Lawrence Horan of Clermont; J. K. Molumby, D. J. Raftis, Jas. Monahan and Miss Irene Corker, of Elkader; Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Conboy, P. H. Quinn and Wm. Byrnes, of Strawberry Point; Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Larson of Alma, Wis.; Mrs. Imogene Shepherd and Kathryne Glennon, of Chicago, Ill.; and Miss Mary K. Shepherd of Dubuque.
