Ferris, Belle 1846 - 1936

Clayton County Register, 05 Feb. 1936.

Belle Ferris, daughter of Alexander and Agnes Ferris, was born in Bristol, Rhode Island, September 22, 1846. When a small child, she came to Clayton county, where she spent the rest of her life. She passed away at Elkader January 30th, at the age of 89 years.

The only surviving relatives are her brother's wife, Mrs. M. J. Ferris, and her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Leckington, of Independence, and the children of her half-brother, the late Alexander Ferris of Millville

Interment was made at the Goshen cemetery near Millville.
