Elkader Register, Thur., 05 Nov. 1912. Monona column.

Uncle Thos. Conway died at his home Monday forenoon, suddenly and unexpectedly. He had gone out in the field to mend a piece of fence and his daughter, when looking for him a short time later, found his lifeless body. He was 87 years old. Funeral was held at the church at 10 o'clock, Thanksgiving day.
