Mrs. Anna Zwingel Kleinlein was born February 06th, 1840, at Grossrouth, near Nurenberg, in Bavaria, and died at her home in this city October 17, 1912, the cause of death being cancer of the kidney. She immigrated to America in 1859 and lived at Dubuque for a time, later coming to St. Sebald, where she was married to John Kleinlein. To this union were born nine children, four of whom preceded her in death: Earnest, John, Benjamin and Elizabeth. Those who survive are Gottlof, Anton, Chris., and Mrs. Anna Moser, all of whom live here and Conrad, who is a minister in the German Lutheran church near Prestigo, Wis. Sixteen years ago she, with her husband, who died October 17, 1904, moved to this city, and since that time she has made her home here, for the past year living with her daughter, Mrs. Moser. Funeral services were held at the German Lutheran church, of which she was a member, Sunday morning, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Graf. Interment took place in St. Sebald cemetery, Rev. Fuchs officiating at the grave.
