Elkader Register, Thur., 04 July 1912. Garber column.

On Monday evening occurred the death of Lester Borrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al. Borrett. About ten days ago Lester had the misfortune to break his arm as the result of a runaway team. Blood poisoning set in and all that medical care could do, availed nothing. The funeral was held Wednesday at two p.m., interment in Mount Harmony Cemetery, Rev. S. Hansel officiating. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, three brothers and two sisters, besides other relatives. May he rest in peace.
