Elkader Register, Thur., 18 Apr. 1912.
Mrs. Henry Ploog died suddenly Thursday night of heart failure at her home in this city. She had been as well as usual when she retired but as she did not arise on Friday morning on time her husband made an investigation and discovered that she had passed away. Her remains were taken to North McGregor, her former home, on Saturday morning for burial. The funeral services were held in the Catholic church at McGregor, conducted by Father Lundon. It was a terrible shock to her husband and other relatives and they have the sincere sympathy of the community.
