Joseph Weadley committed suicide Sunday by shooting himself through the right temple, as he lay in bed at his home in this city. Mr. Weadley has lived alone in this city for a number of years and was a carpenter by trade. About a week ago he fell and since then his mind has seemed to be affected. A brother was located in Chicago and Wednesday the body was shipped to that city. When he did not appear Sunday the house was entered and they found him lying in bed with the revolver in his hand. The coroner came from Elkport, Monday, and an inquest was held.
