Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Jan. 1912.

The infant child of John Stoops, Sr., of Waukon, was brought here for burial in the East Side cemetery, Monday. The little one was born Saturday but was too frail for this life.

Note: The 1917 obit of his mother Lillian (Bagsby) Stoops names him as Howard B. Howard's parents are also buried in East Side.
