Mrs. Sophia Heiden, a pioneer resident of this town, passed away at the home of her son-in-law, Albert Schiefelbein, on Sunday night, after an illness of but a week's duration. The deceased was born in Germany over eighty years ago. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Henry Wilker, and one daughter, Mrs. Albert Schiefelbein, to mourn her loss. The remains were laid to rest, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Burkhard officiating.
