DIED - in Whitewater, Wis., on the 4th inst., Harry, only son of Joseph and Cordelia McHose, aged five years, eleven months and fourteen days.
In the 'Whitewater Register', of Dec. 15th, the above lines of sadness are found, together with a lengthy obituary prepared after the usual manner of divines. The temporary residence of Mr. and Mrs. McHose, at McGregor, and the large list of acquaintances they have formed here, make the death of their only child, a matter of deep interest to our citizens.
Harry was a bright, promising, pretty boy, the idol of his parents and the admiration of every one who observed his manly little form as he trotted by the side of his father or his mother on the street. Harry was a pet with every body but no amount of personal attachment toward those we love can bar the entrance of Death to the home of affection.
We tender to the bereaved parents our heat-felt sympathy.
