DIED - At Coburg, Canada, on Friday, November 10th, of Lung disease, George C. Harvey, late of the firm of Williams & Harvey, McGregor, Iowa. He was about 20 years old.
We knew the deceased by the sacred name of friend. The Great Father never made a better heart than the one which throbbed in the person of George C. Harvey. He had faults, and who has not! But no act of his was ever prompted by any except honorable motives. Warm in his attachments, earnest in his resentments, he was always prompt in espousing or condemning a cause which excited his interest. You could tell in a moment whether he approved or disapproved a measure, and when once convinced of the correctness of his course, no power of persuasion co'd move him. Manlike and honorable in his business relations with his acquaintances, kind in his social relations, he always had the respect of those who knew him.
His death was calm and peaceful. A long and painful sickness preceded his passage to the tomb, but his pillow was watched by the kindest of companions and the family of an affectionate brother provided him with all the comforts which his situation required. His last words were "Death has come at last."

Note: Interested researchers should verify his age ...... it wasn't all that clear and could have been "about 29 years old"
